1. What should I inspect when the machine arrives?
Check all fluid levels (hydraulic oil, engine oil, fuel). Test all functions by starting the machine. Inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and confirm all accessories are included.
2. What engine oil does the HTY15 use and how often should it be changed?
The KOOP 192F engine uses CF-4 15W-40 oil, capacity 1.5-1.6L. First change at 50 hours, then every 100 hours. Clean the oil strainer at each change.
3. What hydraulic oil is recommended?
Use L-HM46# anti-wear hydraulic oil. Replace at 500 hours along with the return filter, then every 1500 hours thereafter.
4. Why won't the engine start even though the starter turns?
Air in the fuel lines is the most common cause. Loosen the injector nozzle screw, pump the hand primer until fuel flows without bubbles, retighten, and restart.
5. What causes the engine to overheat?
Common causes: clogged radiator fins, stuck thermostat, loose/broken fan belt, or low coolant. Stop immediately if the temperature light comes on and let the engine cool before checking.
